Job Description
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing quality guest services including registration, check-out, PBX operations, mail, and message service. The role requires accuracy in daily accounting procedures while upholding essential hospitality standards such as eye contact, smile, speaking first, engaging in polite conversation, and using guest surnames consistently.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six months to one year related experience and/or training. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Proficiency in operating Property Management System, capturing email, and using the PBX system. Must be able to balance daily shift bank, maintain organization, and demonstrate quality service. Physical ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands, lift up to 25 pounds, and adjust focus. Knowledge of basic computer operations.
