Job Description

We are currently seeking a Front Desk Agent to join the team at one of their residential communities, Parks Residential Denver. This full-time role reports directly to the General Manager. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the cornerstone of the customer experience at the property by providing professional, courteous, and timely service to prospective and current residents. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, which include greeting customers, answering inquiries, processing rental applications, and assisting with leasing activities and operations. The role demands strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach, as you will interact directly with residents and visitors.

A critical part of your duties involves handling both face-to-face and telephone inquiries by accurately providing rental and leasing information while employing suggestive selling techniques to optimize occupancy and revenue. You will assist in marketing efforts under the guidance of management, aiming to generate traffic and promote the property effectively. Additionally, you will be handling administrative tasks including organizing lease files, managing move-in and move-out procedures, and maintaining office order and documentation accuracy.

This position requires proficiency in property management software, accurate cash handling, and a sharp attention to detail to ensure proper execution of leasing and resident services. Also, you will manage work order communications and maintain weekly reports detailing leasing activities and statistics. As a Front Desk Agent, you will represent the community’s professional image and uphold their commitment to exceptional service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous front desk or customer service experience
  • Proficiency with computer systems and office software
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations/leasing prospectives both in person and by telephone
  • Accurately communicates rental rates/leasing information and uses suggestive selling techniques
  • Processes rental applications and performs accurate verification
  • Shows apartments and floorplans while developing market and property knowledge
  • Handles refreshments, signage, opening/closing show units, and tours
  • Markets the property under management guidance including promotions and outreach
  • Manages move-in files and follows proper move-in procedures with documentation and resident explanations
  • Conducts move-out inspections, accepts keys, assesses charges, and documents conditions
  • Organizes office operations including filing invoices, maintaining work order system, and lease documentation
  • Enters and follows up on work orders
  • Prepares and submits weekly leasing activity reports
  • Maintains professional appearance and customer relations
  • Handles cash transactions with accuracy and responsibility
  • Completes daily check-in and check-out procedures for guests/residents
  • Operates telephone system for incoming/outgoing calls and guest paging
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and timely services throughout all interactions
