Currently, HMC is hiring for the position of Front Desk Agent at Travelodge and Penny's Diner located in Missouri Valley, IA. This role is an essential part of the hospitality operations, focusing on delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests. The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for visitors, playing a critical role in shaping guest impressions and experiences. Job Requirements
- Experience with an IHG branded hotel highly desired
- Be able to manage time effectively and complete required tasks on time
- Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Stable work history
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Effective in handling workplace problems including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues
- Skilled in listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving guest concerns and issues
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Assist guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations
- Address and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and room key inventory
- Support front desk operations as needed
