Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role preferred
  • Ability to work the 3 pm to 11 pm shift
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to manage cash and credit transactions
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent grooming and appearance standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Working knowledge of front desk operations policies and hotel general knowledge
  • Proficiency in computer equipment and reservation systems

Job Duties

  • Handle guest registration and room assignments accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • Make guest reservations promptly and courteously following company and brand standards
  • Pre-register block reservations and take same day and future reservations in accordance with hotel policies
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently following credit and cash handling policies
  • Resolve customer complaints and assist with inquiries about hotel services events and local attractions
  • Cancel room reservations according to procedures
  • Walk guests in a professional and courteous manner according to hotel procedures
