Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel guest services preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and local area

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or guest services preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale terminals

  • Customer service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Basic knowledge of local area and hotel services

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process including entering and retrieving information, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting rooms, and coding electronic keys
  • Assist guests with check-out by ensuring accurate billing, handling payments, processing credit and debit cards, converting foreign currency, and managing gift certificates
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, promotions, and local area attractions to answer guest inquiries
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Handle guest complaints by conducting research and negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction
  • Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests
