The Front Desk Agent role at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is pivotal in delivering this exceptional guest experience. As the first point of contact for guests, this position involves welcoming visitors with friendliness and efficiency, overseeing seamless check-in and check-out processes, and addressing guest needs with attentiveness and professionalism. Additionally, the Front Desk Agent supports daily hotel operations by working collaboratively with colleagues and maintaining clear, consistent communication. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • College courses in hotel/motel management are helpful
  • Previous hospitality or related experience helpful
  • Computer experience required

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly, efficient, courteous and confidential manner based on resort standards
  • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with Kalahari Resort standards
  • Perform and complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner
  • Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system, copiers, fax machines and other office equipment
