Job Description

Pursuit is much more than a hospitality and attractions company; it’s a distinctive connector of people to some of the world’s most iconic and breathtaking destinations. The company’s portfolio spans world-class attractions, resorts, lodges, restaurants, retail venues, and ground transportation services, all thoughtfully designed to offer guests an unmatched immersive experience. With properties and offerings located in Alaska, Montana, the Canadian Rockies, Vancouver, Reykjavik, Costa Rica, Las Vegas, and Chicago, Pursuit embraces the unique character and beauty of each destination, making each visit a personal and unforgettable encounter.

As a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol PRSU and a member of the S&P SmallCap 600 index, Pursuit specializes in attractions-led hospitality, consistently delivering value and memorable experiences for guests and shareholders alike. The company’s mission is rooted in inspiring and invigorating travelers by weaving together authentic experiences with outstanding service, both in their adventurous attractions and warm accommodations.

The Front Desk Associate role at Pursuit offers a dynamic opportunity to serve as the welcoming face for guests arriving at the company’s lodges and hotels. This position is integral to the guest experience, acting as the key liaison between guests and various service departments. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for greeting guests warmly and enthusiastically, registering and assigning rooms efficiently, and keeping constant communication with housekeeping to ensure that room readiness and guest arrivals and departures are smoothly coordinated.

Beyond administrative duties, the role involves providing guests with detailed information on available services, local points of interest, park attractions, and entertainment options — all with the aim of enhancing the guests’ overall journey. Pursuit values individuals who can assist guests and teammates alike, demonstrating flexibility as utility players who can adapt to a variety of tasks as business needs evolve. This adaptability ensures that the Front Desk Associate contributes not only to operational excellence but also to the team-oriented culture where collective success is fundamental.

Working at Pursuit means joining a diverse and inclusive workforce bound by a shared passion for adventure and hospitality. Employees are encouraged to bring their whole selves and collaborate across departments in a supportive work environment that values both professional development and personal well-being. Employees enjoy myriad benefits including exclusive access to Pursuit venues, employee discounts, and wellness resources.

The starting wage for this position is $15.75 per hour, reflecting Pursuit's commitment to fair and competitive compensation. Pursuit also fosters a culture of safety and high standards of cleanliness and sanitization, ensuring that both team members and guests feel secure and cared for.

In summary, this role is perfect for individuals who are organized, attentive to detail, excellent communicators, and who thrive in both independent and team settings.
