The Front Desk Agent position at Appellation Lodi - Wine & Roses Resort and Spa is a full-time role critical in delivering superior guest experiences. The person in this role manages all guest interactions from the first point of contact through to departure, ensuring every stage of their stay is seamless, welcoming, and efficient. This includes managing incoming calls, coordinating reservations, conducting check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, addressing complaints, and providing detailed information about the resort amenities and local attractions. The role requires a hospitable and professional demeanor and demands flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Successful candidates must pass a background check to join this esteemed team.

Job Requirements
- At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel front desk setting or a similar role
- strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- familiarity with hotel management software is a plus
- required skills are typing, math, accounting, computer, and credit and cash handling procedures
- read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- ability to assess situations correctly using sound reasoning to make decisions and solve problems
- strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest accounts
- ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids
- hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone
- speak so that others may understand at normal levels and on the telephone
- must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, multi-line touch tone phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers, and other office equipment
- have the ability to stand for a 4-hour period with or without reasonable accommodation
