We are currently seeking enthusiastic and hospitality-driven individuals to join our team as part-time Front Desk Agents. This position plays a pivotal role as the welcoming face of Appellation Lodi, responsible for managing all incoming calls, assisting guests with their varied needs, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from initial reservation through check-out. While the role is part-time, it requires flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of our dynamic hospitality environment. Compensation is competitive at $20.60 per hour, reflecting the importance of this customer-centric role. All candidates must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests upon arrival, greeting them with warmth and professionalism. You will efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, verify and maintain accurate guest information, and expertly handle inquiries, requests, and complaints with courtesy and effectiveness. Beyond transaction management, you will be expected to maintain an in-depth knowledge of the hotel's services, amenities, and the surrounding local attractions to offer valuable assistance to guests. The ability to process reservations and cancellations accurately using the hotel management system is critical to the role.
Collaborating seamlessly with other departments within the resort, you will help ensure that guest needs are met promptly and satisfactorily, contributing to an overall exceptional guest experience. Your role is essential in upholding Appellation Lodi’s high standards of hospitality and enhancing the reputation of the resort within the competitive landscape of the hospitality industry. Job Requirements
- At least two years of customer service experience preferably in a hotel front desk setting or a similar role
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus
- Required skills include typing math accounting computer and credit and cash handling procedures
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to assess situations correctly using sound reasoning to make decisions and solve problems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest accounts
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation including seeing and reading a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids
- Hearing and understanding speech at normal levels and on the telephone
- Speaking so others may understand at normal levels and on the telephone
- Must have finger dexterity to operate office equipment such as computers printers multi-line touch tone phones filing cabinets photocopiers and other office equipment
- Have the ability to stand for a 4-hour period with or without reasonable accommodation
