Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or related field preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including day, evening, night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to commute and relocate to San Diego, CA 92101
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • proficiency in English

Job Duties

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner at all times
  • answer the phone in a timely and professional manner
  • monitor the area of reception and lobby areas to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property
  • answer questions about hotel services and facilities
  • direct guests to the appropriate department or person
  • assist guests with luggage, valet parking, and room delivery
  • provide after-hours assistance for room service, housekeeping, and others as needed
  • know when to refer guests to supervisor or manager
  • know when to refer customers to another company
  • deal effectively with difficult guests or complaints
