Job Requirements

  • Prior cash handling experience necessary
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members
  • Read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to stand for extended period of time and/or duration of shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with hospitality terminology
  • Ability to operate front desk computer systems
  • Knowledge of cash handling and credit policies
  • Understanding of emergency procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable with a positive and flexible attitude

Job Duties

  • Organize and process guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Process room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations
  • Secure payment and verify or adjust billing
  • Activate and distribute room keys
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guest service needs and assist individuals with disabilities
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette for internal communications
  • Complete all tasks on the shift checklist timely and efficiently
  • Balance and prepare paperwork for shift closing according to hotel standards
