Job Description

Mindful Therapy Group is a leading organization committed to empowering mental health care providers such as therapists, psychologists, and nurse practitioners to successfully launch and manage their private practices without being burdened by administrative challenges. Established in 2011, Mindful Therapy Group has built a robust network of support services across more than 20 locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Serving over 2,500 providers, the company delivers high-quality billing, marketing, and administrative assistance, allowing mental health professionals to focus on what they do best—providing care to their clients.

As a well-established mental health administrative service provider, Mindful Therapy Group values professionalism, teamwork, and integrity. The company fosters a supportive work environment that encourages employee growth, development, and career advancement. Its progressive culture promotes collaboration and continual learning, making it an attractive employer for individuals passionate about mental health and customer service.

The Provider Support Specialist (PSS) role at Mindful Therapy Group is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options, offering an hourly wage starting at $18 with potential for raises. The PSS acts as the essential first point of contact for provider members, delivering superior customer service and administrative support tailored to independent mental health care professionals. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy autonomy, and are eager to take on increasing leadership responsibilities as the company grows.

The PSS will manage daily office operations in an in-office setting, serving as the on-site liaison for providers and clients alike. Supported by a remote manager, this role demands a proactive and organized professional capable of managing multiple tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, and supporting providers with their administrative needs. Exceptional communication skills are necessary for interacting with clients over the phone, in person, and via email, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone entering the practice.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with customer service experience, particularly those from restaurant and hospitality backgrounds, to transition into a meaningful position within the mental health sector. The successful candidate will develop expertise in provider administrative processes and contribute significantly to the providers' ability to practice productively and efficiently, which directly impacts the broader success of Mindful Therapy Group.

The schedule for this full-time role is Monday through Friday, with shifts available in morning, midday, and afternoon time blocks to provide some degree of flexibility. Mindful Therapy Group supports its employees with attractive benefits including 75 percent health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, 15 paid time off days accrued annually, 6 paid holidays, 401k matching, life insurance, and professional development opportunities. These benefits underscore the company’s commitment to employee well-being and career growth.

Mindful Therapy Group is an equal opportunity employer that prioritizes diversity and inclusion. The team is united by shared values of teamwork, integrity, and a passion for customer service within the mental health field. Prospective employees must pass a background check and cannot be current clients of Mindful Therapy Group, ensuring a clear separation between service providers and employees.

Joining Mindful Therapy Group means becoming part of a dedicated team that is making a tangible impact on the mental health services landscape while advancing your own professional journey in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
