The role of Front Office Receptionist at Hillside Medical Group is a pivotal position responsible for managing front desk operations with a focus on patient interaction and administrative support. This full-time position offers a schedule from 7am to 4pm and requires a candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality. The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, tasked with answering multiple phone lines with professionalism, checking in patients, and managing financial transactions such as collecting copays, deductibles, and coinsurance. This role also includes essential administrative duties like posting payments, scanning medical records into patient charts, and accurately entering patient demographics and insurance information.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical for success in this role, as the receptionist will frequently interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. Proficiency in Office 365 and computer literacy is necessary to efficiently handle scheduling, data entry, and electronic recordkeeping tasks. The ability to prioritize duties and multitask effectively ensures that office operations run smoothly and patients are attended to without delay.
