Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist or similar administrative role
- Basic knowledge of medical office operations and terminology
- Ability to use electronic health records systems, preferably eClinicalWorks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability and professionalism
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and comply with healthcare regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical receptionist role or similar position is preferred
- Proficiency in medical collection processes and documentation review is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Familiarity with office management practices and procedures
- Experience using eClinicalWorks electronic health record systems is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to minimize wait times
- Handle medical collections and process payments accurately
- Maintain patient records, ensuring documentation review is thorough and compliant with regulations
- Utilize eClinicalWorks electronic health record systems for patient management
- Provide support in office management tasks, including inventory control and supply ordering
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Assist bilingual patients by providing translation services when necessary
