The Front Desk Associate at Retro Fitness plays a vital role as the first point of contact for all members and guests entering the gym. This position is responsible for creating a positive and professional first impression, handling member requests with efficiency and courtesy, and promoting the diverse services and products offered by the club. The role is integral to supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility, maintaining organization and cleanliness in the front desk area, and ensuring effective communication among team members. The Front Desk Associate also handles membership sales, smooth transactions including selling memberships, smoothies, supplements, and personal training sessions, as well as assisting with billing inquiries and tracking front desk activity.

This opportunity is suited for individuals who have a passion for customer service, enjoy being organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment. The Front Desk Associate must be comfortable with upselling and engaging with members to enhance their gym experience while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Working hours include early mornings, evenings, and weekends, providing flexibility along with competitive compensation ranging from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on location and experience.

  • Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale systems
