Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role required
- ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems
- strong organizational skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- professional appearance and demeanor
- knowledge of medical terminology and patient registration processes preferred
- experience in handling patient insurance, billing inquiries, or payment collections preferred
- bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Duties
- Greet and check in patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor
- verify patient demographics, insurance information, and necessary documentation during the registration process
- schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments while coordinating with clinical and business office teams
- answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information regarding hospital services
- collect co-pays and patient balances at the time of service, following financial policies and procedures
- maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA and hospital standards
- ensure the front desk and waiting area remain clean, organized, and welcoming for patients and visitors
- support the business office team with administrative tasks as needed
