Job Duties
- Greet and register guests
- Make and modify reservations
- Perform hotel operator and concierge duties
- Provide courteous and efficient guest service before arrival and throughout the stay
- Settle guest accounts upon completion of stay
- Handle and resolve guest complaints professionally
- Balance reports and manage cash control
- Process credit cards and operate phone systems
- Maintain confidentiality and handle key control
- Promote rooms using persuasive selling techniques
- Coordinate with other departments for room status and repairs
- Complete training in security, alcohol, and health and safety
- Assist in training new staff
- Participate in creating a positive work environment
