Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food prep or grocery setting preferred
- strong knife handling skills and safety awareness
- knowledge of food safety and handling standards
- good customer service skills
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends
Job Qualifications
- prior experience in grocery food service or produce prep preferred
- comfortable using knives and other food prep tools safely
- ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety guidelines
- friendly and helpful attitude with clear communication skills
- capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- commitment to maintaining clean and sanitary workspaces
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- willingness to support team members and contribute to positive store culture
Job Duties
- slice fruits and vegetables to prepare fresh cut produce
- package produce attractively and according to company standards
- check produce freshness and quality regularly
- maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas
- create visually appealing produce displays
- assist with inventory management and restocking
- provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers as needed
