Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in cooler environments
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Good sensory abilities for visual monitoring and equipment operation
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to follow company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests, leaders, and team members
  • Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
  • Proficiency in operating equipment such as power jacks, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail grocery environment
  • Experience in food handling or retail produce is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in the fresh cut department by observing sales floor and cooler conditions, producing, stocking and replenishing products as needed
  • Execute outstanding service to guests, assist guests with locating products and resolve concerns
  • Organize and sanitize work areas, shelving, and sales floors to maintain cleanliness
  • Ensure all quality standards and food safety logs are met, including quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm
  • Maintain regular and timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for absences
  • Support team efforts and perform other duties as assigned
