Job Requirements

  • 5+ years freight forwarding warehouse experience with air/ocean cargo handling
  • knowledge of airline handling procedures and TSA, DOT, CBP compliance
  • ability to supervise and lead warehouse teams
  • forklift certification or willingness to obtain
  • proficiency in MS Office
  • effective communication skills
  • strong problem-solving abilities
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced freight forwarding warehouse environment

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years freight forwarding warehouse experience including air/ocean cargo handling
  • knowledge of airline handling procedures, TSA regulations, CBP import/export processes, and hazmat handling
  • experience supervising teams in a hands-on warehouse environment
  • forklift certification or ability to obtain
  • proficiency with CargoWise One preferred and MS Office
  • bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • strong communication and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily air and ocean freight warehouse operations, including cargo receiving, build-up, breakbulk, consolidation, and transfer to/from airlines and trucking partners
  • Supervise and participate in loading/unloading containers, pallets, and ULDs
  • Ensure all shipments meet TSA, DOT, CBP, and airline compliance requirements
  • Lead and train staff in proper cargo handling, labeling, screening, and documentation handoff
  • Coordinate closely with operations teams on export cut-offs, import recoveries, and urgent/priority shipments
  • Maintain and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ensure a safety-first culture with clean, organized, and compliant facilities
