Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of related experience preferably in logistics or freight forwarding
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • U.S. citizen or green card holder
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze financial aspects of logistics proposals

Job Duties

  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders
  • Discover global supply solutions for customers concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics solutions with business systems or processes
  • Discover global supply chain solutions utilizing comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions
  • Negotiate with customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability while maximizing margins
  • Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency for customers
  • Analyze all aspects of customer logistics to determine the most cost-effective means of transporting products
  • Communicate with external stakeholders including customers, government, and the public
  • Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
  • Ensure execution of developed sales strategies, plans, and promotional programs
  • Confer with department heads to plan advertising services and secure information on equipment and customer specifications
