Job Requirements

  • Graduate in any field
  • At least 3 years of relevant and recent experience in freight forwarding operations and customer service
  • Fluency in oral and written English
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a high-tech customer service and logistics environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong responsiveness in dealing with customer requests
  • Attention to detail for billing, process analysis, customer complaint investigations, and reporting activities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and assist other team members during peak volume periods
  • Experience in carrier network management.

Job Duties

  • Manage file creation and all services associated with freight forwarding and logistics
  • Assist with account start-up and liaise with sales to ensure required documentation and information needed for the SOP are provided
  • Monitor and audit files weekly for compliance of estimate input, profit margin setting, and timely invoicing
  • Assist clients in their day-to-day requests related to export/import documentation to ensure proper execution of transportation files
  • Provide clients with complete flight and sailing details to guarantee a proper flow of information
  • Liaise with Airlines and Ocean lines to procure the best possible solutions (capacity and cost) for transportation files execution
  • Liaise with internal network and external partner agents to guarantee the best possible service assistance
  • Act quickly upon emergency situations within the life of Air/Ocean files
  • Network with operations colleagues to ensure support during workflow overload
  • Own, log, and resolve all daily customer service contacts and queries received via telephone and email per strict SLA
  • Report and track any systems or operational issues impacting customer shipments
  • Compile, review, and action reporting suites for key accounts and business KPIs
  • Action customer complaints by implementing and documenting root cause and corrective actions
  • Manage carrier network including tracking orders through delivery, return, claim, and exceptions
  • Report carrier performance and address trends with corrective actions
  • Participate in weekly carrier and customer task meetings, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews
  • Compile and manage self-billing activities for all carrier and customer transactions
  • Provide customized reporting from TMS system as required
  • Participate in control tower and customer projects
  • Serve as the voice of the customer.
