Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a logistics coordinator
- Knowledge of import/export and customs documents and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Studies in international business, logistics, or supply chain
- Proficient with MS Office
- Familiar with G Suite and other CRMs
- Flexibility to adapt to operational changes and take on additional responsibilities

- Flexibility to adapt to operational changes and take on additional responsibilities
Job Duties
- Plan and determine the most efficient routes and shipping times for goods through a carrier by airline or shipping line to optimize transportation costs, reduce delivery times, and minimize risks
- Prepare pick-up orders for ground transportation and airway bills, SED (Shipper’s Export Declaration), and dangerous goods declarations
- Prepare BL (Bill of Lading) instructions on time
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm cargo details and determine the appropriate ground transportation based on needs and requirements
- Provide tracking updates for ground, air, and sea transportation to specific destinations
- Complete documentation and procedures for international transport, including customs declarations and international requirements for the shipment and receipt of imported cargo (USA)
- Secure space and availability on airlines and shipping lines for various shipments, making bookings in advance to ensure space and rate requirements are met
- Work closely with external logistics providers, carriers, customs agents, and transportation companies to meet company objectives
- Build strong and effective relationships with strategic partners, improved problem-solving, and optimization of logistics processes contribute to a smoother and more efficient supply chain
