Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or 3PL
  • Demonstrated success in revenue generation and client retention
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, including Incoterms, documentation, and compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding or 3PL industry
  • Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs effectively
  • A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Job Duties

  • Proactively identify and close new business opportunities across freight forwarding and 3PL verticals
  • Leverage existing industry contacts and relationships to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue generation
  • Present tailored logistics solutions to importers, exporters, and supply chain stakeholders
  • Build long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive communication
  • Collaborate with operations, pricing, and account management teams to ensure successful onboarding and execution
  • Stay ahead of market trends, pricing shifts, and competitor activity in key trade lanes and sectors
  • Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and closing
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and report regularly on pipeline activity and forecasting
