Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or 3PL
- Demonstrated success in revenue generation and client retention
- Strong understanding of international shipping, including Incoterms, documentation, and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding or 3PL industry
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs effectively
- A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Job Duties
- Proactively identify and close new business opportunities across freight forwarding and 3PL verticals
- Leverage existing industry contacts and relationships to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue generation
- Present tailored logistics solutions to importers, exporters, and supply chain stakeholders
- Build long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive communication
- Collaborate with operations, pricing, and account management teams to ensure successful onboarding and execution
- Stay ahead of market trends, pricing shifts, and competitor activity in key trade lanes and sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and closing
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and report regularly on pipeline activity and forecasting
