Job Duties

  • Coordinate ocean import shipments
  • open import files
  • produce internal documentation
  • update import statuses
  • assist and advise customers of shipment arrivals
  • arrange deliveries
  • process invoices including price conversions and verify shipment weight and volume
  • handle e-mail queries from DSV overseas offices
  • maintain accurate data efficiently
  • adhere to DSV policies and service levels
  • communicate professionally via telephone, email, facsimile
  • manage finance areas including vendor and clearing invoices
  • address and resolve invoice queries promptly
  • maximize profitability on handled files
  • perform credit checks according to DSV policy
  • maintain tidy and accurate filing
  • build strong relationships with customers, DSV offices, overseas agents, and service providers
  • identify and support improvements in operations, cost control, and customer service
  • provide first-class customer service
  • perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
