Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferred
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in freight forwarding logistics or related field preferred
- Experience in freight forwarding highly desirable
- Mathematical skills including ability to perform basic calculations such as calculating costs and rates
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
- Understanding of trade laws and regulations
- Fluency in English required
- Knowledge of additional languages a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with logistics software and systems preferred
Job Duties
- Coordinate the exportation of goods by air including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through transportation channels
- Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance including commercial invoices packing lists and bills of lading
- Track and monitor shipments providing regular updates to customers on shipment status
- Manage relationships with customers ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns or issues
- Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics finance and operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws including customs regulations and trade laws
- Perform all other duties as assigned
