Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field
  • minimum 5 years experience in freight or logistics management
  • familiarity with international shipping regulations and export documentation
  • proven track record of managing complex logistics operations
  • strong analytical skills to optimize freight costs
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or related field
  • proven experience in freight and logistics management
  • strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping and customs regulations
  • experience coordinating multimodal transportation including trucking, rail, ocean, and container freight
  • excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • ability to manage and lead teams effectively
  • strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders

Job Duties

  • Execute sales and purchase orders within 30 days while maximizing margins
  • coordinate trucks, rail, containers, and ocean freight for domestic and export shipments
  • anticipate shipping issues and develop contingency plans
  • develop strong connections with carriers, terminals, and customers
  • maintain efficient freight operations and prevent operational errors
  • prepare documentation for shipments
  • manage carrier relationships and coordinate shipping schedules
