Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to complete all job-required trainings and assessments successfully within prescribed timeframes
Physically capable of performing tasks including lifting, stocking, cleaning, and operating equipment
Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and member satisfaction
Willingness to adapt to changes and perform multiple duties across freezer, cooler, and deli departments

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in stocking, merchandising, or customer service preferred
Ability to follow safety standards and company policies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic proficiency with equipment operation related to food handling and storage
Capability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Demonstrated problem-solving and creative thinking skills

Job Duties

Maintain facility safety by following safety standards and procedures including safety sweeps and proper handling of hazardous materials
Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation in freezer, cooler, and deli areas by handling claims and returns, zoning, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, completing audits and documentation, and securing fragile merchandise
Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services
Follow company policies related to freezer and cooler areas including food handling, equipment operation and sanitation, cold chain procedures, cleaning of areas, monitoring equipment operation, and reporting issues
Dispose of lesser-quality food products properly and verify expiration dates
Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
