Their platform connects corporate clients with impactful social experiences, creating opportunities for meaningful participation in over 30 social impact areas. Visit.org counts prestigious clients such as Colgate, Paramount, Adobe, Twilio, and Tommy Bahama among its partners, emphasizing its strong industry presence and commitment to social responsibility.

The company specializes in hosting dynamic events, both in-person and virtual, which range from activities like waterfront cleanups and volunteering at soup kitchens to educational initiatives like building STEM kits and hygiene package assembly. These events are designed to foster teamwork, social responsibility, and corporate purpose alignment. The organizations leading these events are carefully selected non-profit and social impact entities, ensuring authenticity and positive societal impact.

The Freelance Event Specialist role at Visit.org requires an experienced, responsible, and highly driven individual to coordinate logistics for upcoming in-person events held locally. As a key onsite representative, the candidate will need an entrepreneurial spirit, a deep passion for live events and social impact missions, and the discipline to facilitate seamless event experiences that leave lasting impressions on corporate participants.

This role is contract-based with a competitive hourly rate, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of each event. The Event Specialist will be integral to the success of social impact activities, overseeing onsite setup, engagement facilitation, and teardown. They will collaborate with corporate partners, non-profit organizations, and the internal Visit.org team to ensure an organized, positive, and memorable event.

Key responsibilities include managing the check-in process with a warm, friendly approach, problem-solving onsite challenges, coordinating roles with all involved parties, and providing timely updates and documentation to the Events Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience managing both large-scale and intimate executive events with high standards for customer experience and content quality.

Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed, local travel within the region, and physical capability to handle event logistics such as lifting and standing for extended periods are essential. Candidates must exhibit strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness in fast-paced environments, and a passion for building meaningful relationships with event participants.

Joining Visit.org means contributing to impactful work that supports community engagement and social change while building valuable experience in event management. Freelancers can expect collaborative team support, meaningful work aligned with their values, and potential for recurring contracts with a leading purpose-driven company.
