Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event management or related field
- minimum 3 years of experience in event coordination or management
- strong computer skills including familiarity with virtual meeting platforms
- ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs
- able to stand for extended periods
- flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- based in Charlotte, NC
- own reliable transportation for local travel
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Fluency in English and strong communication skills

- availability to work on a contract per-event basis
- experience with both large-scale and executive-level intimate events
- proven track record of executing high-level events and enhancing customer experiences

- excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- experience facilitating groups and managing group dynamics
- flexibility to work nights and weekends
- willingness to travel within the local region

- ability to multitask and manage varied responsibilities
- comfortable interacting with large crowds
Job Duties
- Coordinate all event details including shipping materials and arranging staffing
- participate in virtual planning meetings with corporate partners, nonprofit partners, and event coordinators
- be onsite to set up, align with the on-site team, and manage tear down
- serve as Visit.org representative and leader at events
- manage the check-in process and welcome guests warmly
- problem-solve issues such as missing supplies, late staff, and technology challenges
- escalate issues to the Events Team as needed
- send consistent updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team throughout the event
- assist with breakdown, cleaning, and repackaging materials post-event
