In this role, you will be collaborating closely with managers to coordinate and lead day-to-day operations while overseeing staff performance and fostering teamwork. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage teams
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Completion or willingness to complete sanitation course

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • Must complete a sanitation course before or during first year
  • Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • Direct daily activities
  • Maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
  • Ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
  • Maintain serving schedules ensuring all food items are served per menu specifications
  • Maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • Maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production
  • Supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • Train and mentor food service workers
  • Maintain logs on equipment maintenance
  • Ensure completion of food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
  • Perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • Recommend equipment replacement
  • Multitask proficiently
  • Fill in for absent employees
  • Maintain knowledge of daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery
  • Work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • Attend food service meetings
  • Maintain communication with staff
  • Perform cashier duties as needed
  • Promote good public relations
