Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field
  • minimum of 2 years experience planning and coordinating events or projects including writing articles, correspondence and proof reading
  • proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Lead FPBCC event planning and coordination efforts within the institution and throughout the state
  • oversee the execution and evaluation of special events for the Cancer Center including External Advisory Board Meetings, Grand rounds, FPBCC symposiums and fund-raising events
  • develop and manage event budgets and timelines
  • coordinate special guests, speakers, and presenters including travel and reservation arrangements
  • manage communication strategies to engage target audiences and ensure clear correspondence
  • handle payment processing and invoice management
  • evaluate event outcomes and implement process improvements
