Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field
- minimum of 2 years experience planning and coordinating events or projects including writing articles, correspondence and proof reading
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
- excellent organizational and project coordination skills
- ability to work in a hybrid work environment

Job Duties
- Lead FPBCC event planning and coordination efforts within the institution and throughout the state
- oversee the execution and evaluation of special events for the Cancer Center including External Advisory Board Meetings, Grand rounds, FPBCC symposiums and fund-raising events
- develop and manage event budgets and timelines
- coordinate special guests, speakers, and presenters including travel and reservation arrangements
- manage communication strategies to engage target audiences and ensure clear correspondence
- handle payment processing and invoice management
- evaluate event outcomes and implement process improvements
