Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years cooking experience in high-volume restaurant setting
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • availability to work primarily 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift
  • must be able to follow directions and work independently as needed
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary arts degree preferred
  • local board of health ServSafe certification preferred
  • minimum of 2 years cooking experience in high-volume restaurant or bistro environment
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe cooking practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
  • strong communication and time management skills

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook food according to restaurant standards
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
  • meet special dietary requests of guests
  • creatively prepare dishes
  • adhere to safe cooking methods and proper knife skills
  • ensure proper food storage and handling
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to support efficient service
