Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant or bistro environment
  • knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
  • flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to work morning and evening shifts as required
  • physical ability to stand for long hours and perform kitchen tasks
  • adherence to company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts degree preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • minimum 2 years cooking experience in high-volume restaurant or bistro environment
  • knowledge of sanitation standards
  • skilled in cooking methods such as sautéeing and grilling
  • proficient in knife skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver prepared food products according to the restaurant's standards
  • maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • uphold professionalism at all times in the kitchen
  • respond to special guest requests promptly
  • prepare dishes with creative flair
