Job Description
Resorts World Las Vegas is a premier luxury resort and casino destination located on the Las Vegas Strip. Known for its vibrant entertainment, world-class dining, and exceptional guest services, it offers an unparalleled experience to visitors from around the world. As one of the newest additions to the Las Vegas hospitality scene, Resorts World blends cutting-edge technology, upscale amenities, and diverse cultural influences to create an environment where both guests and team members can thrive. The resort emphasizes a strong team-oriented culture where every employee is considered an ambassador responsible for the safety, security, and overall guest experience. This commitment to excellence and personal ownership makes Resorts World a leading employer in the hospitality industry.
The Fountain Worker position at Resorts World Las Vegas plays a vital role in delivering the highest quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Fountain Worker serves as an essential support link between the front of the house and back of the house teams. Acting as a representative of the Resorts World brand, the role involves greeting guests with a warm and professional demeanor, efficiently processing orders and payments using the company POS system, and ensuring that the food and beverage station is well-stocked and organized. This position requires the employee to maintain cleanliness, manage inventory rotations, and handle product stocking while providing prompt and courteous service.
Beyond basic order processing, the Fountain Worker will also be responsible for delivering beverages, including alcoholic drinks when properly licensed, and engaging with guests by offering knowledgeable recommendations on the menu. The ideal candidate is someone who combines polished appearance and excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a luxury resort setting. This role demands a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding Resorts World’s core values, including treating the property like one's own home, actively participating in safety and security protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Candidates should be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma and possess at least one year of experience as a cashier or barista in a fast-paced luxury environment. Licensing requirements include a food handler’s card, alcohol awareness certification, and a non-gaming sheriff card, reflecting the responsibility held while delivering alcoholic beverages. Additionally, team members are expected to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, embracing the dynamic nature of hospitality scheduling.
The physical demands of the position include standing or sitting for prolonged periods, bending and reaching, and handling items weighing up to 50 pounds, all while complying with safety and operational procedures. Resorts World Las Vegas values employees who demonstrate personal ownership by adhering to non-negotiable responsibilities that foster a secure, clean, and guest-focused workplace.
This full-time employment opportunity offers a chance to be part of a prestigious team that excels in luxury food and beverage service while gaining valuable experience in one of the most renowned resorts in Las Vegas. By joining Resorts World as a Fountain Worker, candidates will contribute directly to creating memorable guest experiences and uphold the standards of excellence synonymous with the resort.
