Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- previous food service experience
- customer service experience
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- able to stand and walk for long periods
- able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- able to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
- maintain clean and neat appearance
- obtain food handlers permit within 30 days of employment
- willing to work variable AM and PM shifts
- positive attitude and good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- previous food service experience
- customer service experience
- prior serving or bussing food service experience in a full service restaurant preferred
- must have or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Warmly greet each guest
- ensure dining room is set and ready for service to the Sundance standard
- deliver water (bottled or tap) to guests and refill glasses as needed
- assist in the service and clearing of food as directed by the server
- ensure proper sequence of service for all guests
- reset tables within two minutes of the guest's departure
- be motivated to stay productive, helpful, and impactful to the guest experience in a positive manner
- stock service stations and buss trays
- buff silverware and glasses
- exhibit job and product knowledge sufficient to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, service, and resort information
- exhibit self confidence to the degree necessary to handle a variety of situations in a positive and professional manner
- maintain a clean and neat appearance while wearing a complete, wrinkle free, designated uniform and name tag
- complete pre-service and end of shift side work including cleaning and closing responsibilities
- work cooperatively with dishwashers ensuring dirty dishes are handled to protocol
- ensure work is inspected by management prior to departing
- exhibit a positive attitude when speaking about guests and fellow employees
