Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • previous food service experience
  • customer service experience
  • ability to work weekends and holidays
  • able to stand and walk for long periods
  • able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • able to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • maintain clean and neat appearance
  • obtain food handlers permit within 30 days of employment
  • willing to work variable AM and PM shifts
  • positive attitude and good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • previous food service experience
  • customer service experience
  • prior serving or bussing food service experience in a full service restaurant preferred
  • must have or obtain a current food handlers permit within 30 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet each guest
  • ensure dining room is set and ready for service to the Sundance standard
  • deliver water (bottled or tap) to guests and refill glasses as needed
  • assist in the service and clearing of food as directed by the server
  • ensure proper sequence of service for all guests
  • reset tables within two minutes of the guest's departure
  • be motivated to stay productive, helpful, and impactful to the guest experience in a positive manner
  • stock service stations and buss trays
  • buff silverware and glasses
  • exhibit job and product knowledge sufficient to provide guests with accurate information in all aspects of food, service, and resort information
  • exhibit self confidence to the degree necessary to handle a variety of situations in a positive and professional manner
  • maintain a clean and neat appearance while wearing a complete, wrinkle free, designated uniform and name tag
  • complete pre-service and end of shift side work including cleaning and closing responsibilities
  • work cooperatively with dishwashers ensuring dirty dishes are handled to protocol
  • ensure work is inspected by management prior to departing
  • exhibit a positive attitude when speaking about guests and fellow employees
