Job Description
Our company is a prominent leader in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, dedicated to advancing drug development and bringing innovative therapies to market. Specializing in cutting-edge pharmaceutical development, we focus on creating high-quality semi-solid dosage formulations that meet rigorous standards for safety and efficacy. The company prides itself on fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment where scientific innovation and precision are paramount. With a commitment to research excellence and regulatory compliance, our teams work cohesively to develop formulations that improve patient outcomes and streamline production processes.
We are currently seeking a skilled Scientist to join our Pharmaceutical Development group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with semi-solid dosage formulations and engage in extensive physicochemical characterization. The Scientist will be responsible for formulation compounding and process development tasks such as material handling, weighing, heating, mixing, filling, sealing, packaging, and sample shipment. Additionally, the role includes performing various characterization techniques including HPLC, viscometer measurements, pH evaluation, microscopic imaging, rheology, and in vitro drug release analysis. The successful candidate will need to multitask across multiple projects and disciplines effectively.
This role demands a strong foundation in chemistry, thorough knowledge of formulation development, and the ability to maintain GxP-compliant laboratory documentation. The Scientist will closely follow study protocols and DOE guidance while ensuring strict adherence to lab safety procedures and SOPs. By contributing to pre-formulation support and development of semi-solid dosage forms, the candidate will play a critical role in refining formulations and validating their stability and performance. This position is ideal for a candidate with over three years of relevant formulation experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors who is eager to contribute to impactful pharmaceutical innovations.
