Job Requirements
- Two years of custodial, janitorial, or building maintenance experience
- Valid State of Illinois driver's license
- Ability to obtain airfield certification within six months
- Successful completion of airport background check and Security Threat Assessment
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Must complete required skills test and interview
Job Qualifications
- Two years of work experience performing custodial, janitorial, or building maintenance work
- Valid State of Illinois driver's license
- Ability to obtain airfield certification within six months of hire
- Must pass airport background check and Security Threat Assessment
- Experience supervising or leading cleaning staff is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Job Duties
- Work alongside custodial team performing cleaning tasks
- Make daily work assignments and prioritize work
- Drive to outlying airport sites to inspect and oversee custodial workers
- Supervise custodial workers ensuring proper cleaning of restrooms, offices, lobbies, stairways, and corridors
- Monitor use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Provide training on custodial tasks and safety procedures
- Approve time off requests, evaluate performance, and initiate disciplinary actions
- Prepare productivity reports and perform other related duties
