Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Must be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hour shifts
- Must be able to carry trays weighing 35-50 lbs
- Must have a friendly and professional demeanor
- Must be available to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to memorize table numbers and communicate effectively between kitchen and waitstaff
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-stress restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts
- Ability to carry heavy trays with balance and dexterity
- Capacity to remain calm, professional, and organized under pressure
- Excellent memory for table numbers and attention to plate presentation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Promptly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct guest using memorized table numbers and pivot points
- Inspect every plate before it leaves the kitchen to ensure it meets standards for accuracy, garnish, and temperature
- Act as the primary liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house, relaying special requests, dietary restrictions, or order issues to chefs
- Anticipate guest needs by providing appropriate condiments, extra silverware, or refills on water and beverages upon delivery
- Assist servers and bussers by clearing empty plates and glassware between courses to keep dining areas clean
- Keep the expeditor/running station stocked with essential supplies like garnishes, sauces, and clean tray liners
