Walmart prides itself on being customer-centric, valuing efficient service, and fostering a workplace that supports personal and professional growth for its associates.
This full-time position at Walmart Supercenter #272 is for a Food and Consumable Associate. This role requires individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment to maintain product availability and present products in an appealing, organized manner.
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17 to $30 per hour, with the final rate at or above the required minimum wage for the Franklin area. Additional compensation opportunities include annual or quarterly performance incentives, as well as premiums that can vary based on factors such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. These premiums may increase earnings between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour, potentially combining multiple premiums for appropriate situations.
Walmart offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support the well-being of its associates. Benefits include health coverage through medical, vision, and dental insurance plans. Financial security is bolstered by programs such as a 401(k) retirement plan, stock purchase options, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off benefits accommodate various life events, including parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. Additional benefits include short-term and long-term disability insurance, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more.
Associates also have access to PTO and PPTO, enabling flexibility for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other personal needs. The amounts provided consider the job classification and length of employment, ensuring compliance or surpassing the paid sick leave laws applicable in some regions. Walmart’s Live Better U education benefit program offers significant opportunities for educational advancement, fully covering tuition, books, and fees for programs ranging from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Eligibility requirements apply based on job classification and length of service.
