Job Requirements

  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods
  • Able to work in high-temperature environment
  • Flexible availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including opening and closing
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to adhere to food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year line or fast-casual kitchen experience or strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly
  • Reliable night and weekend availability
  • Basic knife skills
  • ServSafe Food Handler or Manager certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
  • Previous kitchen, brewpub, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
  • Familiarity with batch prep, fryer maintenance, and temp logging systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Cook and plate menu items to spec during peak service
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and organized stations
  • Communicate ticket times and item availability with team members
  • Follow all recipes, portioning, and plating standards
  • Complete opening duties including prep sheet review and station set-up
  • Perform closing duties such as cooling, labeling, deep-cleaning, and storing mise
  • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Support team by assisting in prep, dishwashing, and training
