Job Requirements
- Able to lift 40 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to work in high-temperature environment
- Flexible availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work varied shifts including opening and closing
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to adhere to food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year line or fast-casual kitchen experience or strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly
- Reliable night and weekend availability
- Basic knife skills
- ServSafe Food Handler or Manager certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Previous kitchen, brewpub, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Familiarity with batch prep, fryer maintenance, and temp logging systems preferred
Job Duties
- Cook and plate menu items to spec during peak service
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized stations
- Communicate ticket times and item availability with team members
- Follow all recipes, portioning, and plating standards
- Complete opening duties including prep sheet review and station set-up
- Perform closing duties such as cooling, labeling, deep-cleaning, and storing mise
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- Support team by assisting in prep, dishwashing, and training
