We are currently seeking candidates for the full-time position of Food Transporter/Delivery Driver. This role is critical in supporting the company’s logistics by ensuring timely and safe delivery of food, supplies, and other necessary products. The position requires driving box trucks in compliance with DOT requirements, with a fixed pay rate of $21.00 per hour and an internal employee referral bonus available. The schedule is full-time with varying days and hours, details of which will be provided during the interview.

The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver is responsible for a range of duties that involve picking up and delivering requisitioned supplies, managing inventory to confirm completion of orders, loading and unloading trucks safely, and adhering to strict sanitation and safety guidelines. The individual in this role must be diligent in maintaining hot and cold food items according to company standards and ensuring compliance with all health regulations. Responsibilities also include collecting empty containers and rejected merchandise, maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle, performing routine truck maintenance, and providing high-quality customer service through attentive and professional interactions with coworkers and clients.

Candidates for this role must hold a valid state driver’s license and a valid food handler’s permit where required. Prior experience driving box trucks and familiarity with DOT regulations are mandatory. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, responsibility in handling food products, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
