The position of Food Transporter/Delivery Driver is a full-time role based at the Capital One LAS Commissary located at 400 East Stewart Avenue, Las Vegas, NV. This role is vital to the successful and timely delivery of food, supplies, and other essential products to various units and areas of service within the company. The Food Transporter acts not only as a driver but also as a key player in maintaining the quality and safety standards of food service operations. With a pay range of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, employees in this role benefit from competitive compensation along with additional incentives such as internal employee referral bonuses.

This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of following strict sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment. The Food Transporter/Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up requisitioned supplies and completed production orders from staging clerks, loading and unloading materials in a safe and orderly manner, and ensuring that food items are maintained at proper temperatures to comply with company standards. The role also involves collecting empty containers and unsold merchandise, performing routine vehicle maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.

Job Requirements

  • Previous airport driving experience preferred
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • able to deliver food and supplies safely
  • follow sanitation and safety guidelines
  • able to perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • able to interact positively with coworkers and customers
  • good organizational and inventory skills

Job Qualifications

  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and a valid food handler’s permit where required
  • valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions

Job Duties

  • Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk
  • receives completed production orders from staging clerk and inventories items
  • loads orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner
  • unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site
  • follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
  • ensures hot and cold food items comply with company standards and sanitation requirements
  • collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
  • responsible for general cleanliness of assigned vehicle
  • performs routine maintenance on truck
  • interacts with coworkers to ensure company service standards
  • provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail
  • performs other duties as assigned
