We are currently hiring for a full-time Food Transporter/Delivery Driver position located at Miro, 303 Colorado Street, Austin, TX 78701. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food, supplies, and other essential products to various service units. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with further details provided during the interview process. The pay range for this role is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, offering competitive compensation to attract skilled candidates.

As a Food Transporter/Delivery Driver at Eurest, your responsibilities will span a range of tasks focused on the efficient handling and transportation of foodservice items. You will pick up requisitioned supplies and completed production orders from staging clerks, inventory these items to ensure accuracy, and load them safely onto the delivery truck. Adhering to strict sanitation and safety guidelines is paramount, especially in maintaining the quality and temperature compliance of hot and cold food items during transport. The role also involves collecting empty containers and unsold merchandise, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle, and supporting routine truck maintenance.

Customer service is a key component of the position, as you will interact with coworkers and clients alike to uphold company standards. Attention to detail, safety, and reliability are essential traits for success in this role. The position requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, making stamina and physical fitness important. A valid driver's license and food handler's certificate are also mandatory to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
