The role of Food Supervisor at Sodexo, specifically located at Erlanger Womens East Hospital, presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about leadership and food service operations. This full-time position operates on a rotating shift schedule with pay ranging from $18 to $23 per hour, designed to offer flexibility and support for a balanced life. As a Food Supervisor, you will serve as a vital link between management and service employees, overseeing daily activities across multiple food service platforms such as fast casual dining, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, banquets, casual dining areas, and cafes.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the routine workflows, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and safety are maintained. You will play an integral part in supporting management's objectives by facilitating employee orientation and training, addressing customer satisfaction issues, and promoting a safe and healthy working environment. Your leadership will be key in managing team performance and resolving problems proactively. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in food service or related field
  • Availability to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
