As a Food Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily food service activities across different formats such as fast casual dining, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining, and cafes. Your role is pivotal in coordinating the routine work of service employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the food service environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
- Availability to work varying shifts and days with open availability preferred
- Ability to attend scheduled shifts regularly and punctually
- Capability to support and supervise food service employees
- Commitment to maintaining workplace safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Reliable with 1 or more years of related work experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to nurture a healthy and safe working environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food service operations
- Effective problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
- Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
- Facilitate orientation and training of employees
- Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements
