The company prioritizes safety, continuous growth, and a supportive work environment for its teams across various locations.

The University of Missouri - Kansas City, in partnership with Sodexo, is hiring a full-time Food Supervisor to oversee daily food service operations on-site. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of service across fast-casual dining, coffee and counter service, cafeterias, events, banquets, casual dining, and cafes. The Food Supervisor acts as a vital link between management and staff, providing leadership and support to ensure smooth, profitable, and customer-focused operations. The position offers a pay range of $17 to $18 per hour with varying shifts that include days, hours, and rotating weekends, with specific details to be discussed during the interview process.

As a Food Supervisor, you will be tasked with coordinating the routine work activities of food service employees, supporting management, and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. You will also play a key role in staff training and orientation while promoting teamwork and customer satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, overseeing staff performance and ensuring excellent service quality. Your leadership will help uphold Sodexo’s mission of creating a better everyday for everyone by delivering exceptional food service experiences. The role also offers opportunities for continuous learning and career growth within the Sodexo organization, backed by a comprehensive benefits package that supports employees and their families. This includes paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401k savings plans, and employee discount programs. Some locations may offer additional perks such as free meals or meal allowances, uniforms, safety shoes, and transportation support.

Candidates who succeed in this role will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and committed to maintaining a healthful and safe working environment for all. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, and applicants must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and effectively handle the responsibilities of managing staff and operational duties. Sodexo values fair treatment, inclusion, and a culture of respect, making it a rewarding workplace for those seeking meaningful employment.
