Job Duties
- Assumes responsibility for food service operations as they may apply and/or are assigned to particular schools
- Serves food provided in an appealing manner
- Assures the cleaning of all serving areas and other paraphernalia related to the production, serving or storing of all foods used
- Participates in the assembly of foods, such as mixing salads, using a knife, assembling sandwiches and/or heating of precooked foods
- Performs cashiering or accounting of monies collected, bank deposits, participates in ordering food and menuing, and maintaining simple daily records
- Assists cooks or bakers in the preparation of foods
- Helps and assists other workers with joint tasks when other assigned tasks are completed
