Creative input and critical thinking are encouraged to enhance food service delivery, uphold quality and portion control, minimize waste, and perform cashiering duties via computer when needed.\n\nPhysical demands of the job include regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to approximately 30 pounds, often in environments with temperature variations and moderate to loud noise levels. Candidates should demonstrate resilience, maintaining composure under pressure, and proactively addressing knowledge gaps or challenges. The position prioritizes responsibility, requiring thorough sanitation practices, dishwashing, sweeping, and mopping duties. Educational qualifications typically include a high school diploma or GED, with preference given to candidates who have prior experience in large quantity food preparation and working with learners in school settings.
