Job Requirements

Prior Subway experience preferred
Ability to work full-time or part-time schedules including rotating weekends
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic math skills for cash handling
Ability to stand for long periods and carry food items
Willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation requirements
Ability to handle customer complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience working in a Subway or similar fast-food environment preferred
Ability to handle cash register operations and sales transactions
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to work rotating weekends and variable hours

Job Duties

Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
Weigh and measure designated ingredients
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures
Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service
Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
Relay relevant information to supervisor
Perform sales transactions
Enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
Make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
Issue receipts to customers
Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards
Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness
Perform other duties as assigned
